Busch Pet Products Events
We hold several events throughout the year to raise money for Howie's Harvest, our pet food bank, which purchases food to be donated to the SEMO Food Bank. Howie's Harvest is named for our original store cat Howie, who was beloved by our customers.
February 1 - 14th
Howie's Hearts
Hearts are purchased in honor of beloved pets, current and former, and are displayed in the store until the end of February.
March / April
Peeps for Paws for a Good Cause Easter Egg Hunt
Hosted at our sister business, Deer Creek Doggie Day Camp, dogs and their owners can hunt for eggs and win prizes donated by our manufacturers. We all have local vendors and food trucks.
July
Neko's Luau
A free event in honor of Neko, our new location store cat who passed unexpectedly in 2025. We have doggie froyo, a costume contest, and professional pet portraits with Elaine Rohde Photography
October
Howl-o-Week Trunk or Treat
This annual event also raises money for Howie's Harvest to purchase pet food for the SEMO Food Bank. Hosted in the parking lot of our sister business, Deer Creek Doggie Day Camp, local businesses host decorated trunks and pass out human snacks and pet treats to pets and kids in costume. We also have games and activities at the Camp, along with professional pet portraits by Elaine Rohde Photography and food trucks
